easyfit coving

The easyfit coving system (patent pending) offers a number of benefits over the traditional plaster or modern polystyrene coving.

The easyfit system has two basic uPVC resin parts, (see right), the base plate which is fixed to the wall and the decorative easyfit coving which just pushes into the base plate. The easyfit coving simply unclips if necessary for redecoration etc.

The easyfit system consists of a number of parts to make any installation easy and straight forward:

• The base plate for fixing to the wall.
• The coving which comes in long lengths (2.5 or 5 metres) and which fits into the base plate. The coving can come in a variety of foil finishes or be paper finished to take a household paint.
• Internal and external corners - premade corners to avoid the need to mitre the coving where it goes round corners.
• Joining pieces - to join corners to straight coving or straight coving to straight coving.
  The joiner simply clips in to the back plate the same as the other parts.

With no physical fixings to the ceiling, easyfit coving is ideal for use in conservatories or other areas where the ceiling is not suitable to take standard coving adhesive.

easyfit coving is designed so that low voltage wiring (or other small cables such as hi-fi etc.) can be run inside, with the coving being removable, installing or changing the cable runs is straight forward.

As the easyfit base plate can be mounted to leave a space between the top of the coving and the ceiling above, easyfit coving makes putting up low voltage concealed lighting an easy job.

The easyfit coving system is ideal for conservatories, domestic homes, mobile homes, commercial buildings and new builds.
