• The current site includes sections on carpentry, decorating, information, electrics, general building, outdoors and garden, planning and design, plumbing and tools. Any suggestions to enlarge the range of diy topics covered are welcome.

What does this mean?

• This means that we aim to contain independent, practical diy background and `how to' information which is freely available over the www.
• We use only 'basic' web technology to ensure that visitors can use us even if they are not using the latest multimedia web technology and also to keep the delay in accessing the information to the minimum.

How do we achieve this?

• We provide articles of advice and information supplied by our own technical team.
• We include sponsored articles from suppliers/manufacturers dealing with their products.
• We can also provide links to various on-line diy suppliers, both in the UK and USA).

What are 'sponsored articles' ?

• Sponsored articles are available to companies to publicise instruction for choosing, using, or maintaining products which they manufacture or supply. In addition sponsored articles include a link to the sponsors www site and (if required) a list of the UK stockists and/or world-wide distributors.

• The cost of a sponsored article is 50 pounds Sterling per year.
• We do not normally charge for preparing the page but do reserve the right to do so if the material supplies requires a lot of processing - we would ask for your acceptance before we did any such work.
